Every owner of a vehicle manufactured before 1992 could take part in the Polish Elegance Contest. From the submitted applications, the jury composed of recognized experts in vintage cars selected thirty of the most beautiful vehicles in Poland. They were presented in the park surrounding the Rozalin Palace during the final gala of the competition.
It was an absolutely extraordinary event that we will remember for a long time. The charm of individual decades of the 20th century, reflected in the details of the bodywork, the shade of upholstery or the glare of headlights – it was impossible not to give in to this automotive magic.
Collectors and old cars enthusiasts, representatives of the car industry, personalities from the world of business, culture and art – everyone shared their fascinating stories, observations and knowledge.
Watching Patryk Mikiciuk, one of the most popular automotive journalists in Poland, a specialist in vintage vehicles, a film expert and a collector of vehicles from past eras, lead the final competition, we were proud to be a part and partner of this event.
The surroundings of the palace and park complex in Rozalin, whose history and architecture dates back to 1857, simply delighted us. Once upon a time, the summer residence of Rozalia Rzewuska née Lubomirska was full of lavish banquets and social gatherings. Today, this tradition continues, and we felt like going back to the 1930s, when the concours d’elegance attracted the owners of the most exclusive, custom-built limousines and convertibles.
Preparing a tasting of Antonius Caviar products for the competition participants cannot be called otherwise than pure pleasure. We were happy to meet so many connoisseurs of good taste and the nuances and shades of our pearls – Oscietra and Siberian.
We would like to congratulate the winners of awards (Jaguar D-Type in the sport category, Alfa Romeo 1750 GT Veloce in the open category, Cord 810 in the elegance category) and the owner of the unique Fiat 8V Supersonic (the Grand Prix 2022 winner).
